Britt, Peters & Associates offers the opportunity to work on an extensive variety of project sizes, types and locations. Candidates for this position can expect to design and manage projects in wood, cold formed steel, masonry, structural steel, and concrete across the United States from conceptual design through construction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis and design for buildings of various sizes and complexity utilizing all construction types
• Ensure project designs are completed in accordance with a variety of building codes and local amendments
• Provide direction, coordinate, and supervise the work of other structural design and engineering team members
• Communicate and interact with clients in a manner that provides an exceptional experience

Requirements:

• Degree from ABET accredited university in structural engineering or related field of study
• Strong technical background and skills
• Experience with and/or understanding of current industry software, including RAM, ETABS, Revit, AutoCAD, Enercalc, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills PE and/or SE license
• Minimum 4 years experience
