Britt, Peters scope typically involves the upfit of an existing retail space and converting it into a plasma donation center.

The size of the retail space varies based on the market size but generally various between 5,000 and 15,000 square feet.

BPAs scope of work includes a structural evaluation of the existing structure including a site vist, photo documentation of exsisting condition and a report documenting conditions and recommendations. We determine the condition of the existing roof framing and ability to support new mechanical equipment. Britt, Peters report provides roof reinforcing details, new wall openings, removal/relocation interior columns, and detailing for installing a recess in the existing slab on grade to receive a prefabricated freezer.

BPA has also completed the structural design for upfit of two Plasma Logistic Centers (PLC), which are large storage facilities. One in Dallas, TX (23,000 SF) and the second in Whitestown, IN (66,000 SF), our scope included the freezer slab design and equipment support. These are more industrial in nature with forklift traffic and rack storage systems.
