Britt, Peters served as the structural engineer for the 50,000 square-foot complex featuring two floors, a basketball and volleyball court, fitness areas with free weights and cardio rooms, locker rooms and shower, office areas, storage, library and classroom space, and an elevated track. The center will also include community services office space, health and dental clinic, and a memorial installation. The center will serve as after-school and summer youth program for children ages 5-18 or grade K-12 for the Boys and Girls Club of Cherokee.
